🌳🚗✨After a week-long hiatus, we’re back! We embarked on a captivating journey through England, Wales, Ireland, and Scotland. This trip was a sequel to our March orientation trip, where we fine-tuned our strategy and gathered experiences. The decision was made to extend the #MoreTreesNow campaign internationally, with the tree planner now available in English, German, and French.
Our team, a mix of campaigners, coordinators, ecologists, and documentarians, toured these countries in electric Teslas, meeting with various groups and individuals interested in our campaign.
Highlights:
🌿 Wakelyn’s Agro Forestry, England
We visited the oldest Agro Forestry company, engaging with 50 interested individuals, sharing insights about the campaign, and harvesting trees in the picturesque forest edges.
🌐 Corby, England
Addressing the aftermath of the industrial revolution, we discussed the potential of the MoreTreesNow.Eco approach in managing remaining forests and greening the landscape.
🏴 Wales
Nestled in Hobbit houses after exploring Snowdonia, we discussed regional options with strategic partners, exploring the endless possibilities of using nature as a tree breeding ground.
🍀 Ireland
From Dublin to Dunsany estate, we conducted seminars, inaugurated tree hubs, and planted trees with local communities, receiving enthusiastic responses and opening doors for future actions.
Takeaways
🌲 Innovation in Corby: Unveiling the potential for sustainable forestry to transform landscapes marred by industrial activities.
