Ecological and social returns

The MeerGoen Foundation has no fixed sources of income and finances its activities with one-off contributions or carrying out work under contract. Our work concept is largely volunteer-based and we fundamentally use recycled materials. This allows us to deliver 5 to 10 times higher productivity per euro invested than regular organizations on many projects. We are concerned with ecological and social returns and less with economic turnover. We also start many projects ourselves without initial capital, because we believe it is important that there is progress in the M.E.E.E.R. values ​​we strive for.

ANBI

We are a non-profit, foundation with ANBI status since 2012. A Public Benefit Organization (ANBI) can take advantage of certain tax benefits. Donations to ANBIs can be deducted from taxes. We comply with the requirement that has applied since January 2012 to make our data such as annual reports and plans public.
